What exactly is a PickedIn coloring book?
A one-of-a-kind coloring book starring your child. Their name and illustrated portrait appear on the full-color cover, and every inside page is a unique coloring scene featuring them.
How is my child’s illustration made — is it AI?
Every book starts with the photo you upload. Our art team uses professional digital illustration tools — including AI-assisted drawing — to turn your child into the hero of each scene, and a real person checks every single page for likeness and quality before it prints. If it doesn’t look like your child, our Reprint-or-Refund Guarantee has you covered.
What are the size and page options?
The book is a large 8.3″ × 11.7″ format on extra-thick premium paper — markers and crayons won’t bleed through. Choose the 12-scene edition or the 24-scene edition — every scene is different.
Are colored pencils included?
Yes! Every book ships with a free box of 12 wooden colored pencils — an $8 value, on us.
Do you have designs for boys and girls?
Yes — we have dedicated scene collections for boys and girls (and even grown-ups, if you’d like to surprise an adult!).
What kind of photo should I upload?
A clear, front-facing photo with good lighting works best. One face per photo, no sunglasses or heavy shadows.
What happens to the photo I upload?
Your photo stays private — we use it only to illustrate your book. It’s never shared or reused, and you can request deletion anytime at info@pickedin.net.
Can the cover show two names?
Yes — for example “Judy Rose” fits beautifully.
How much is shipping — and where do you ship?
We currently ship anywhere in the US. Shipping is $9–$19 depending on your location and speed — the exact cost shows at checkout, and every order includes tracking.
How long until it arrives?
Production takes 2–4 business days, then shipping time depends on the speed you choose at checkout — you’ll get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.
Can I add extra pages?
The 24-scene edition is our biggest book right now. Something special in mind — twins, or two kids in one book? Email us at info@pickedin.net and we’ll see what we can do.
What if it doesn’t look like my child — or something’s wrong?
Since every book is personalized we can’t accept regular returns — but if the likeness is off, there’s a defect, or we made any error, we’ll redraw and reprint it free or refund you in full. No shipping anything back. See our Refund Policy.
